This site is a tribute to Jacqueline Reid, who was born on August 09, 1920. She is much loved and will always be remembered.

Jacqueline Reid was a beloved mum, nan and great nan.

Jacqueline was born Dolly Kerry, the daughter of James Kerry who worked as a Head Horseman. It is believed that she was born in either Ireland or Suffolk. Dolly later changed her name to Jacqueline.

On 18th April 1942, Jacqueline married James Reid, a Ship yard labourer who was originally from Strachan, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Their marriage took place at All Saints Parish Church, Great Holland, Essex. Jacqueline and James were living at Jenkins Farm, Great Holland, Essex at the time of their marriage.

Jacqueline later gave birth to 2 children; a son named Mickey and a daughter also named Jacqueline.
